Transfer Partners advised the shareholders of Dietz-motoren GmbH & Co. KG, based in Dettingen unter Teck, on the sale of their shares to Deutsche Elektromotoren Holding GmbH.

Dietz-motoren specializes in development and production of customized electric motors with a performance class of up to 200 KW. In addition, the company produces and sells high-quality industrial fans and blowers, which are used in cooling, heating, and ventilation technology. The traditional company with three locations in the southwest of Germany has more than 100 years of experience in the development and production of tailor-made electric motors for very well-known customers in various industries. The Dietz-motoren brand is internationally renowned for its outstanding product quality, reliability, and innovativeness.

Under the umbrella of the newly founded Deutsche Elektromotoren Holding GmbH, the company will retain its brand name and operate alongside Elektromotorenwerk Grünhain GmbH, which is already part of the group. Deutsche Elektromotoren Holding GmbH is very pleased about the acquisition of Dietz-Motoren. Due to the ideally complementary product portfolio and the combined know-how in manufacturing electric motors, numerous synergy potentials were identified.

Transfer Partners' mandate covered the entire M&A process, including preparation of transaction-related documents, identification and approach of suitable prospective buyers, management of due diligence, and support of negotiations until successful closing.
