Transfer Partners advised the shareholders of the family-owned company V+V Kunststoffe of Holtum + Voss GmbH + Co.KG based in Langenfeld on the sale of their shares to Schmidt's Handelsgesellschaft mbH from Bürs/Vorarlberg in Austria.

V+V is a successful medium-sized wholesale company focusing on plastics for the construction industry and has one of the largest warehouses for roofing, facade construction as well as trade fair construction and industry in Germany. The product range of V+V mainly comprises plastic products such as sheets, aluminium profiles and a variety of C-parts. The products are not only traded, but also cut to size and assembled ready for installation.

The Schmidt's company was founded in 1887 by Josef Schmidt and has been a successful company for many years. By now it operates in 4 countries with a total of 18 locations. It is 100% family-owned and will continue and positively develop the philosophy of V+V Kunststoffe GmbH + Co KG, which they have known for years.

Mr. Karsten von Holtum will continue to be the operative managing director of V+V Kunststoffe GmbH + Co KG.
