Transfer Partners has advised the SCHWENK Group on the sale of Betonbau GmbH & Co. KG, based in Waghäusel, Germany, to capiton AG, Berlin.

Founded in 1963, the Betonbau Group today employs approx. 900 full-time employees at its five locations, including a foreign subsidiary in the Czech Republic.

Starting as a manufacturer of prefabricated transformer tower stations, Betonbau is now Germany's leading manufacturer of turnkey technical stations. Over the years, the value chain has been extended by the company's own electrical equipment and increasing metal component production. With its quality promise and performance claim, Betonbau is thus a particularly important partner for its customers from the private and public sectors for many topics related to the shift towards sustainable energy and in infrastructure development.

For capiton AG, an owner-managed, independent financial investor, this is already the 8th investment of its latest vehicle, the "capiton VI fund".

Transfer Partners was mandated to support the entire divestiture process, including the preparation of transaction-related documents, the management of due diligence as well as the support of the final negotiations until the successful closing.
