Transfer Partners exclusively advised the Dresdner Lackfabrik novatic GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Dresden, on the sale of the group of companies to Sherwin-Williams Company, headquartered in Cleveland, USA.

The novatic group is a leading manufacturer of paints and coating solutions for decorative protection of industrial goods, infrastructure, machinery and vehicles. With its broad product portfolio novatic offers innovative and sustainable, high-quality solutions across the segments protective, industrial, automotive, integrated tinting and decorative and serves customers in more than 50 countries worldwide.

Novatic was founded in December 1990 as Dresdner Lackfabrik FEIDAL GmbH. Nowadays the novatic group employs more than 240 employees at four production facilities in Asia and Europe and 22 distribution locations.

The Sherwin-Williams Company is a chemical company based in Cleveland, Ohio and the world-leading provider of paints, varnishes and building materials. The company currently employs a network of over 4,000 paint and varnish stores.
