Transfer Partners exclusively advised the shareholders of WaCo Gerätetechnik GmbH headquartered in Dresden (Germany) on the sale of their shares to Wickeder Westfalenstahl GmbH headquartered in Wickede (Germany).

WaCo is an established supplier and manufacturer of customised high quality sheet metal parts, assemblies, housings and control cabinets.

The customer base consists mainly of well-regarded companies in the electrical, transportation and medical as well as sensor technology sectors. WaCo employs around 100 highly qualified employees.

As part of the company succession, the shareholders were looking for a reputable investor to secure the future growth of the company.
Wickeder Westfalenstahl GmbH is a manufacturer of clad materials and parent company of Wickeder Group. With its subsidiaries in Europe, America and Asia it is one of the world's leading companies for metallic pre-products and semi-finished products as well as metalworking services.

The acquisition of WaCo is part of Wickeder's acquisition strategy to expand its metalworking capabilities.
