After we took a closer look at additive manufacturing processes and 3D printing applications in the last quarter, this edition of the SektorReport Industrials will focus on the electronics industry, in which we want to highlight the growing importance of medium-sized power electronics, especially with regard to the M&A market. The industry is particularly characterized by its medium-sized character, its high level of know-how and its innovative strength - three characteristics that large and static companies often lack.

Against this background, in the deal report we highlight the acquisition of the Dutch charging specialist Heliox by the German technology group Siemens AG, which was completed in August.
