Transfer Partners advised the shareholder of Best Plastic Management Group, based in Bösel, Germany, on the sale of her shares to Vidia Equity, a financial investor focused on climate solutions, decarbonization and sustainability.

BPM is a technology leader in the disposal and recycling of post-industrial plastic waste and serves a diversified customer base of medium-sized companies in various end markets. Customers particularly value the high reliability and exceptional quality of the BPM Group.

The motivation for the transaction was the succession of the shareholder and managing partner Stephanie Kötter-Gribbe as well as securing future growth with a strong partner, highly competent and experienced in the complex recycling market.

Vidia Equity is a Munich-based mid-market investment company that invests specifically in companies that contribute to the decarbonization of the economy through activities in the areas of electrification, circular economy, and industrial materials. BPM Group is the first platform to be acquired by Vidia Equity. Vidia plans to elevate BPM to new heights by further improving its market position and share while optimizing operational processes towards a closed circle. In addition, Vidia intends to selectively acquire market participants with complementary capabilities and further geographical reach.

Transfer Partners' mandate covered the entire sell-side process, including the preparation of transaction-related documents, the identification and approach of suitable prospective buyers, due diligence management and the support in the final negotiations up until closing.
