Transfer Partners exclusively advised the shareholders of Heusch/Boesefeldt GmbH on the sale of their company to the international traffic technology group SWARCO.

Heusch/Boesefeldt, headquartered in Aachen with a branch in Cottbus, has been pioneering guidance systems and traffic management since 1969. With around 50 employees, the company is a leading provider of software solutions that drive the digitization and automation of traffic infrastructures through customized, innovative solutions.

With the acquisition by SWARCO – itself successful on the market since 1969 – technological expertise in the field of customer-specific software solutions will be specifically expanded and market presence in the DACH region and beyond strengthened. At the same time, SWARCO is laying the foundation for a high-performance engineering center for highway and tunnel management systems as well as for forward-looking technologies in the field of CCAM (Cooperative, Connected, Automated Mobility).

The transaction was completed on August 19, 2025, marking another milestone in the expansion of SWARCO's expertise in intelligent traffic control.
