Transfer Partners advised Korrosionsschutz- und Malerbetriebe Gerhard Schmitz GmbH, a specialist for surfaces in the field of painting, concrete repair, floor coating and corrosion protection, on its acquisition by DEUBIS Group, a holding of DPE. The company, which has around 90 employees, is based in Duisburg and was founded in 1924.

Following the transaction, DEUBIS employs over 650 people at 19 locations in four countries. Since DPE's investment in DEUBIS Group in 2019, turnover has grown from around EUR 55m to over EUR 120m in the current financial year.

With this acquisition, the growth investor DPE, which focuses on medium-sized companies, has found a further addition to the expansion of DEUBIS as a leading group of companies in the field of building maintenance.

Transfer Partners' mandate covered the entire M&A process, including the preparation of transaction-relevant documents, discussions with suitable interested parties, management of due diligence and support of negotiations until successful completion.
