Transfer Partners successfully advised Mendritzki Holding GmbH & Co. KG ("Mendritzki") on the sale of its shares in its Remscheid-based subsidiary finova Feinschneidtechnik GmbH ("finova") to Callista Private Equity ("Callista").

finova is an internationally active manufacturer of fine-blanked parts for applications in the automotive, household appliance, bicycle, fittings and other industries. The company's product range includes highly customised fine-blanked parts used in a wide range of applications. Thanks to its many years of experience in a wide range of industries, finova can boast prestigious and internationally active customer references. finova is one of the few suppliers to cover the entire process, from the design of the fine-blanked part to post-processing, thus differentiating itself from the competition through the high quality of its end products.

Under the Callista umbrella, finova has new potential to increase its competitiveness and achieve sustainable and successful growth.

As the new owner, Callista will set the course for a strategic and operational realignment of finova. In this context, Callista's operational experts will support the company and accompany key strategic optimisation projects. Callista's initial focus will be on improving operational processes and expanding sales activities.

Callista Private Equity is a German private equity firm based in Munich. Since its foundation in 2013, the company has specialised in acquiring industrial companies with potential for improvement and supporting them through the carve-out, restructuring and optimisation phases.

Transfer Partners' mandate covered the entire M&A process, including the preparation of transaction-related documents, the identification and approach of selected interested parties, due diligence support for the sellers and support during negotiations up to the successful signing and closing.
