Transfer Partners advised the Stiftung Bildung und Handwerk ("SBH"), based in Paderborn on the sale of its shares in the International German School ("IGS") in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to the Khai Sang Corporation ("KSC").
IGS is the state-recognized German school abroad in Vietnam. SBH has parted company with its successful subsidiary in order to focus on its core activities in Europe.
Khai Sang Corporation is a successful Vietnamese education provider and operates several schools in Asia, primarily in Vietnam.
With the takeover of IGS, KSC now has a state-recognized German school abroad. The IGS will continue to offer excellent educational opportunities for German and international students in Vietnam and at the same time allows students access to higher education in Europe.
Transfer Partners' mandate encompassed the entire M&A process, including the preparation of transaction-related documents, the identification and approach of selected candidates, managing the due diligence, and support in negotiations to ensure a successful signing and closing.
