Prof. Dr. Jochen Mackert studied, among other subjects, finance and information management in the Elite Network program at the Technical University of Munich. He then earned his doctorate at the Chair of Analytics and Optimization at the University of Augsburg. After completing his doctorate, he worked at Robert Bosch GmbH in the field of digital auditing and in the management of digital transformation projects. In 2024, he was appointed to the Chair of Digitalization at DHBW Karlsruhe, where he oversees the Digital Business Management and Industrial Business Management degree programs. His research on data-driven decision support has been published in numerous academic journals. In addition, he advises medium-sized companies on the design and implementation of digital transformation projects, both as an operational consultant and through advisory board appointments.
